How are shipping rates calculated?

We are thrilled to ship worldwide directly from Japan!

We use Japan Post's international parcel post rates for EMS delivery to ship all of our items. EMS is the fastest international mail service for sending up to 30 kg of merchandise simply and conveniently to our customers in over 120 countries and territories worldwide. 

Orders are sent out the first week of every month. A tracking number will be sent to you via email after your order has shipped.

You will be billed separately for shipping costs. Shipping costs will depend on the weight of the ordered items and your location. If you have any questions please contact us.

How Hokkaido Snack Box started

OUR STORY

Hokkaido Snack Box came from our passion and love of the Japanese food and culture of Hokkaido, Japan, where we live. Started by the husband and wife team of (John and Japanese wife Mutsumi). John is from the USA, whereas Mutsumi was born here in Asahikawa-shi, Hokkaido, Japan. We have a deep knowledge of the local Japanese foods and culture of Hokkaido, Japan.  Using our local, on-the-ground connections, we are able to bring you some of the most unique snack and candy items in Hokkaido.

Starting in our small and humble home in 2024, we hand-pick and pack Japanese candy and snack mystery boxes that we think people will enjoy - snacks with uniquely Japanese flavors and textures representing Hokkaido, Japan!
